Tiffen Glimmerglass 1/4 (82 mm) adds bloom and gentle highlight softening without being a variable ND. Strength 1/4 is the classic light diffusion stop — not denser Glimmerglass grades and not NiSi True Color ND-VARIO filters (e.g. 67 mm). It is also not an Athena 40 mm T1.9 lens. Match your lens or matte-box diameter before mounting. Suited to interview, commercial, and light cinema looks that want softness without heavy haze.
