NiSi True Color VND/PL 1-5 Stops 86mm 2-in-1 ND + PL

What it is: the NiSi True Color VND/PL 1-5 Stops (86mm) is a 2-in-1 filter in 86mm thread that combines a 1-5 stops variable ND (0.3-1.5 density) and a circular polarizer in one body, each on its own control ring.

Who it is for: shooters running large-diameter glass such as 28-70 f/2 who need cine work keeping the iris open in daylight. One ring holds exposure, the other kills the reflection, with nothing to unscrew in front of the lens.

• Independent VND and PL control — turning the polarizer does not change the ND stop, so exposure and reflection are set separately.
• VND/PL, 2-in-1 — cuts light and kills glare from water, glass and foliage in a single filter, with less glass in the bag.
• True Color — neutral color response across the whole range, no magenta tint or warm cast, in RAW or LOG.
• 1-5 stops range — 1 to 5 stops of light reduction with none of the X cross-polarization pattern common to VNDs.
• Ultra-slim metal frame — aluminium alloy with a corrosion-resistant finish, slim enough to avoid vignetting even on 15mm full-frame.
• 4-side nano coating — multi-layer coating cuts reflections, repels water and oil and makes cleaning quick.
• Luminescent markings — markings glow in low light so you can adjust without a headlamp.
• Metal lens cap — precision-machined aluminium cap in the updated silver finish protects the lens in transit.
• SWIFT system compatible — pairs with SWIFT filters when the workflow calls for stacking.

Key specs

• Filter thread: 86mm
• ND range: 1-5 stops (0.3-1.5 density)
• Polarizer: circular, independently adjustable
• Optics: True Color, 4-side nano coating
• Frame: ultra-slim aluminium, luminescent markings
• In the box: metal lens cap
• SKU: NIR-TCVNDPL-86

Usage note: avoid rotating the polarizer with density set at 4-5 stops; colors can oversaturate in that range.
